Gene-centered and homology-centered Data Mining with biological data.

A first version of a database has just been completed, called
GeneProteinKeyDB (GPKdb), that may be applicable for mining large biological
data for insights.  This system may have several applications; some of these
possible applications will be discussed. This includes applications in the
genome annotation of the human, mouse, fugu, and other chordate or
urochordate genomes.  In addition, this may assist in the analysis of the
cis-regulatory sites in the genome that help confer gene regulation.  The
system may be helpful in obtaining insights from the molecular phenotype of
transcriptosome and proteome research. Other possible uses for understanding
gene regulatory networks will be highlighted.
